Flexibility in modes of communication

TechRadium provides IRIS administrators the flexibility to select the devices which will receive messages during an alert. For instance, a red alert can be sent to only Phones 1, 2 and email. An orange alert can be sent to Phone 1 and Phone 3. A blue alert can be sent to all devices. Any combination can be chosen by the client and implemented within IRIS. The option to choose which device(s) will receive alerts is free of charge.

Examples:

  • A fire at school would be cause for a RED alert sent to your cell phone and then work and home phone and concurrently to your email and pager.
  • A hurricane/tornado would be cause for an ORANGE alert sent to your work phone and then home phone and concurrently to your email and pager.
  • A suspicious character driving around would be cause for a YELLOW alert sent to your home phone and concurrently to your email and pager.
  • An oncoming thunderstorm warning would be cause for a BLUE alert sent concurrently to your email and pager.
  • Parent/teacher conference scheduling and report card announcements would be cause for a GREEN alert sent to your email and then pager.
