Broadcasting an Alert

Step 1: Choose Message Type

At this step, you can create a new alert by choosing one of two options: Text-To-Speech or Voice Recorded. You can also select Saved Alert, which is either Text-to-Speech or Voice Recorded, to broadcast a previously stored message.

Step 2: Compose Your Message

At this step, you can create the message that you want to be sent.
If you chose Text-To-Speech, simply type in the Message field.
If you chose Voice Recorded, IRIS™ will call your phone to record the message.

Step 3: Select Desired Recipients

At this step, you can select the user groups and sub-groups which will receive the broadcast. You can also select the user type and any additional filter which may appear, such as language or gender.

Step 4: Confirm Alert Content

At this step, you can review the content of your alert, its recipients, and the time it is scheduled to be sent. You can also edit the message and save it for future use.

Step 5: Broadcast Your Message

This page will display confirmation that the alert has been sent or scheduled. There will be links to several pages where alert details and recipients lists can be viewed.
