US Army
Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command (FMWRC), Department of Army Headquarters is pleased to announce the eArmy Family Messaging System via the virtual Family Readiness Group (vFRG) site. The messaging system is another tool for Commanders to improve the communication with Army Family members. The system allows Commanders to deliver messages through multiple devices such as phone, cell, text, PDA, and fax.
Commanders will reach Army Families with relevant information about family services, Family Readiness Group (FRG) meetings, pre-deployment support, training, education, health care, children and youth initiatives, and welcome home parties, for example. Salt River Project
The Salt River Project is an entity based out of Arizona which provides electricity to more than 825,000 customers in the Phoenix area. SRP has utilized IRIS™ for mass message distribution to personnel as well as ensure the safety of SRP employees and contractors in the event of an emergency or if imminent danger exists. SRP has used IRIS™ since late 2007.
